Planning Application Search Criteria

General Search
Enter all (i.e F08A/0001) or part of a Planning Reference (i.e F08*). When entering part of a reference, substitute an asterisk * for the unknown section. For example, to search for all planning applications for the year 08, enter F08*. To search for all Pre-Planning Consultations, enter ppc*.

And/Or

To search in a general area, enter keywords such as swords or howth or donabate etc. For more specific addresses e.g. "The Avenue, Melrose Park" enter avenue melrose park (no commas and no the). For St. Mochta's, enter Mochtas (omitting the ').
N.B. Avoid entering the word the or '(apostrophe) or ,(comma) as results will not be returned, if used.

And/Or

To find applications of a specific development type, enter keywords such as creche or three storey or garage etc. E.G. To find applications that have shopping centre in the proposal, enter shopping centre.
**TIP**To refine your search, use a combination of the Location Search and the Proposal search E.G. To find planning applications in 'Donabate' that have 'creche' mentioned in the proposal, enter donabate in the Location box and enter creche in the Proposal box, then click on Search.

And/Or

Enter all or part of a name by placing an asterisk * at the start and at the end of the unknown part. For example, to find applicants with the surname Morris, enter *morris* . This search would also return the surname Morrison. To search for Paul Byrne, enter *paul*byrne*.

And/Or

Date Search
The Date Search may be used on it's own or in conjuction with the General Search.
E.G. To search for Applications within a specified date range enter the appropriate dates in the Applications Received From and To fields in ddmmyy format ie 12th November 2005, enter 121105.
E.G. To search for Decisions within a specified date range and specified location: 1. Enter Donabate in the Location/Proposal box, 2. Enter appropriate dates in the Decisions Made From and To boxes, 3. Click any search button.
**N.B. ONE Date Range ONLY my be selected at a time and both the To and From fields must be completed for that range
